Massachusetts Equine Clinic’s externship program offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience designed to build clinical skills, confidence, and a strong foundation in equine veterinary medicine.

As a busy, full-service ambulatory practice, we provide externs with meaningful exposure to a wide range of cases, including wellness and preventative care, sports medicine, lameness evaluation, emergency care, and dentistry. Externs work closely alongside our veterinarians and team, gaining direct clinical experience while developing their understanding of case management, client communication, and day-to-day practice operations.
