Andrea was born and raised in Concord, Massachusetts where she competed regularly on the hunter/jumper circuit and helped train young horses.  She is a 2021 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary

Medicine as an Equine Major where she received awards in Sports Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, and patient care.  Dr. Basque recently completed a year-long intensive internship at a referral hospital in Western Colorado. During that year she gained training in wellness care, lameness, dentistry, critical care, neonatology, and emergency medicine. Her clinical interests include dentistry and sports medicine, and she is looking to expand her knowledge of alternative therapies including acupuncture and chiropractic work.  In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, riding the occasional horse, and

spending time with her husband Kevin and their two dogs, Boots and Howie.
