Dr. Cate Crowley is a Massachusetts native. She grew up working with horses: on farms around Berkshire County. She attended Maine College of Art and has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Dr. Cate spent quite a few years running a small gallery and design studio in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Missing working with horses she made the move out to Illinois to attend veterinary school where she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cate happily returned to New England to complete a rigorous hospital and ambulatory internship at Ocean State Equine Associates. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, ophthalmology, and neonatal medicine, but she does have a soft spot for donkeys and geriatric care. Outside of work, Cate enjoys hiking with her bloodhound Becks, working in her studio, and her plants and garden.
