Dr. Sydney Schurer joins our practice as our newest Associate Veterinarian with a strong foundation in equine veterinary medicine and a passion for helping horses perform and thrive. A native of New York/New Jersey, Dr. Schurer earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania before completing her internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center.

Her professional interests include sports medicine, wellness and preventive care, as well as emergency and critical care. Dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care, she looks forward to building lasting relationships with both our clients and their horses. Ask her about her dog, Finley!
